Gulf Sea Salt
Cellar Salt Co. was founded by Cane River Pecan Company friend Jeremy Conner, a 20+ year food service industry veteran living in Lafayette, Louisiana. Conner makes his premium line of handcrafted sea salts from the warm tropical waters of the nearby Gulf of Mexico. Primarily used as a "flake" finishing salt, his small batches of salt can also be used on morning scrambled eggs to summer salads, on cold watermelon wedges to grilled seasonal vegetables, on sliced sirloin medallions to warm pecan brownies. The sea salt also pairs well with a variety of flavored ice creams. Feel free to experiment with your favorite bar-b-que rub or use to rim the glass of a great southern Bloody Mary.
