Louisiana’s Cane River...
naturally blessed home of gourmet quality pecans
The Cane River can be found in the heart of Louisiana’s pecan and
cotton country. The river is surrounded by historic plantations,
Creole architecture and huge, stately oak trees.
In 1969, Dan Regard began farming pecans along the banks of this famous river. Years
later, he opened the Cane River Pecan Company store on historic Front
Street in downtown Natchitoches as an outlet to sell his pecans
straight from the orchard.
Since that time, the Cane River Pecan
Company has grown to offer a variety of gourmet flavored pecans and an
assortment of sweet pecan treats.
